Your Exclusive Gift from Beauty Expert

For a limited time, we're treating you to an exclusive complimentary buffing brush when you spend £65* at Beauty Expert. If you haven't used a buffing brush in your makeup routine before, here's the best way to use your new gift.

How to use a Buffing Brush

              Complexion

The Beauty Expert Buffing Brush contains synthetic bristles, making the brush hygienic, effective, and suitable for sensitive skin. Because the brush is densely packed, it blends out your foundation evenly and effortlessly, achieving your desired level of coverage.

Start with a primer that hydrates the skin and provides a smooth canvas for makeup. Depending on your preference, you can opt for either an illuminating primer or a mattifying primer. Following this, apply the foundation, moving the brush in small circular motions and blending out towards the hairline. We recommend using liquid or mineral foundations with this brush to create a flawless and natural-looking finish. Once this is blended, you can use a concealer to brighten the under eye area and cover any blemishes.

Here are some of our favourite foundations to use with the Buffing Brush:

              Body

A second way to use the Beauty Expert Buffing Brush is to apply highlighter to the shoulders and?décolletage. When wearing a bardot neckline or shoulder-bearing outfit, powder or liquid highlighter can be a perfect finishing touch, creating a beautiful radiant glow. Apply in soft gentle strokes.

How to wash your Buffing Brush

To keep your Buffing Brush in optimum condition, it's best to wash the brush at least once per week to prevent product buildup. However, if you use the brush on both your face and body, wash more frequently to ensure that the brush doesn't spread oils to your complexion.

To clean the brush, apply a small amount of brush cleanser or baby shampoo to the brush, and wash with warm water on a brush cleansing mat.
