Hard-working hands need a hand wash that cleans, protects and softens and the Aesop Reverence Aromatique Hand Wash 500ml is a luxurious solution.
Ripping up the rule book, the Australian brand has created a hand wash with a woody, earthy and smoky aroma through the use of botanical ingredients such as vetiver root, petitgrain and bergamot rind.
The hand wash has a gentle exfoliating property thanks to the finely pulverised pumice which is present in the wash. This exfoliation not only helps to leave hands smooth, but it also helps to cleanse the hands thoroughly by working the product into the skin and removing dead skin to reveal a fresh layer.
Purifying citrus extracts give the hand wash antibacterial protection, ensuring hands are squeaky clean with every use.
The product has been packaged in Aesop’s iconic brown bottle to ensure the product never suffers the effects of UV degrading.
For best results, dispense a single pump into the hands and rub together to create a rich lather. Rinse with warm water and pat dry with a soft, clean towel.

Pricey but satisfying
Quite pricey for a handwash but it feels and smells lovely and leaves your hands squeaky clean. Pumice is useful to me as my hands are regularly covered in fountain pen ink or dye stains. Bottle looks minimalist, smart and not at all girly. I don't regret buying it.

Indulgent but lovely
If you are looking for a lovely handwash - this is the one. I indulged because I loved the smell and the way it looked in the bathroom and was feeling indulgent. It was a bit of a rash purchase but guests always comment on it! It's lovely, does the washing bit very well without drying, smells beautiful, and has lasted really well. Would make an excellent gift! I love it!

Aesop handwash
The Aesop Reverence Aromatique Hand Wash was an exfoliating wash that's very granular. It wasn't clear on the description on the website, I assumed it was the normal hand wash which I love and which I'd bought before.
